Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of the CodeBridge Africa website and all programs and services we provide. Please read them carefully before enrolling or using our services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the CodeBridge Africa website (codebridgeafrica.com) or enrolling in any of our programs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Our Services
CodeBridge Africa provides coding education programs and IT services, including:
• Coding for Kids (ages 6 and above)
• High School Bridge Program (3-month intensive)
• Adults Web Development Masterclass
• Fullstack Web Developer Course
• Professional IT Services for businesses
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any program or service at any time with reasonable notice.
3. Enrolment & Payment
Enrolment is confirmed only upon receipt of payment or an explicit written confirmation from CodeBridge Africa.
• Monthly plans are billed at the beginning of each month
• Full payments must be received before the program start date
• Spots are limited and not guaranteed until payment is confirmed
• Payment details must be accurate and up to date
We accept payments via mobile money, bank transfer, and other methods communicated during enrolment. All prices are quoted in Ghana Cedis (GHS) unless otherwise stated.
4. Refund Policy
We want every student to succeed. Our refund policy is as follows:
• Full refund: available if you cancel before the first class session
• Partial refund: available if you cancel within the first week of a program (pro-rated)
• No refund: after the second class session has been attended
Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to codebridgeafrica@gmail.com. Refunds are processed within 7 business days.
For IT Services, refund terms are outlined in the individual service agreement.
5. Student Responsibilities
Students and parents/guardians (for minors) agree to:
• Attend classes punctually and participate actively
• Provide their own devices meeting the minimum requirements communicated at enrolment
• Maintain a stable internet connection for online sessions
• Treat instructors and fellow students with respect
• Not share class materials, recordings, or login credentials with non-enrolled individuals
CodeBridge Africa reserves the right to remove a student from a program without refund if they engage in disruptive, abusive, or dishonest behaviour.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on the CodeBridge Africa website — including text, graphics, logos, curriculum materials, videos, and course notes — is the property of CodeBridge Africa and is protected by applicable copyright laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission. Students may retain personal copies of materials provided during enrolment for their own learning.
7. Class Recordings & Privacy
Online sessions may be recorded for quality assurance and student review purposes.
• Students will be notified before any recording begins
• Recordings are shared only with enrolled students in that class
• Students must not distribute, re-upload, or share recordings publicly
By enrolling in an online program, you consent to being present in class recordings. If you have concerns, please notify us before the session.
8. Certificates
Certificates of Completion are awarded to students who:
• Attend a minimum of 80% of scheduled sessions
• Complete all required projects and assessments
• Meet the criteria set by their instructor
Certificates are for educational purposes only and do not constitute a professional or government-accredited qualification.
9. IT Services
For professional IT services, separate service agreements govern the scope, deliverables, timelines, and payment terms. These Terms of Use apply generally; the service agreement takes precedence for project-specific matters.
We are not liable for data loss, downtime, or consequential damages arising from IT services unless explicitly stated in a signed service agreement.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CodeBridge Africa shall not be liable for:
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services
• Technical failures beyond our control (internet outages, third-party platform downtime)
• Loss of data due to student device failure
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by the student for the program in question.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
